TELEGESTAR is an easy to rig, effective and productive, toolkit allowing the exploitation of the GESTAR 2008 hydraulic analysis and energy optimization tools, in any SCADA dedicated to control and management of networks and pumping stations.
TELEGESTAR can work in real time or as prediction tool in order to improve the supervision and regulation os the irrigation system with provide the best simulation techniques.
Implementation of TELEGESTAR in SCADA systems brings, among other, benefits like:

TELEGESTAR is configured as a simple set of DLL libraries that run the hydraulic simulation routines GESTA 2008 in any programming environment with COM technology.
Under these conditions, the GESTAR 2008 advanced capabilities for simulation and optimum regulation of pumping stations, can be embedded in any software for remote control and/or management. The SCADA/TELEGESTAR communication is accomplished through reading / writing data (measured or predicted) in the same data base structure used to import / export GESTA 2008 information and results. ACCESS; SQL; XML; formats are supported at present.
The communication of data and results between TELEGESTAR and other applications is immediate and transparent by simply actions of update / read from the corresponding fields in the database associated with the controlled system.
The data updated by the instrumentation and/or planning of the system are recorded in this database. The TELEGESTA. DLL can be invoked with various options, i.e., the simulation of the state of the network in the present moment, the absence of alarms when running the irrigation scheduled, the optimum instantaneous required pressure at a pumping station, the optimum number of pumps to operate, …TELEGESTAR.DLL will return the results to the same database from which the control system will collect these results for immediate decision-making process.
Free of charge, temporal license and technical support is provided for test cases with new SCADA environments. Additional tools and examples are provided for communication with third part control or management software.
